Project management

Geolitix was designed to scale your productivity by streamlining the processing, analysis and sharing of your GPR data.

Organising your folders and projects

Similar to the directory structure on your computer, your Geolitix workspace contains folders and projects. Folders may contain multiple daughter folders to many levels, and each folder may contain multiple projects. You may choose to organise your folders by client, geographical area or any other structure which suits your needs.

Folders may be moved, their names modified, or deleted. Note that if you delete a folder containing projects, they are not going to be automatically deleted, instead they are going to be moved to the root folder, to avoid accidentally deleting important data.

Creating a new project

A new project can be created within your home directory, or within a folder by selecting the New project button. .

Managing Projects

Once a project has been created, there are a number of actions which can be made to the project itself, which includes all the contained data. The project may be moved to any other folder within your Geolitix workspace, the project may be renamed, or deleted.

A project may be duplicated into a new project. This is useful when sharing projects with colleagues or instructors.
