Project management

Geolitix was designed to scale your productivity by streamlining the processing, analysis and sharing of your GPR data.

Organizing your folders and projects

Similar to the directory structure on your computer, your Geolitix workspace contains folders and projects. Folders may contain multiple daughter folders to many levels, and each folder may contain multiple projects. You may choose to organize your folders by client, geographical area or any other structure which suits your needs.

Folders may be moved and their names modified. Empty folders can be deleted, but folders containing projects cannot be deleted. To delete a folder that contains projects, you must first move or delete all projects within that folder.

Creating a new project

A new project can be created within your home directory or within a folder by selecting the New project button.

Managing Projects

Once a project has been created, you can perform several actions on the project itself and all its contained data. You can move the project to any other folder within your Geolitix workspace, rename it, or delete it.

Projects can also be duplicated into new projects. This is useful when sharing projects with colleagues or instructors.
