Background Image

Geolitix allows you to load a background image into a project.
Use the icon to upload a background image. Typically, these images may be acquired from a drone to provide context to detect subsurface features. Images of up to 250 MB can be loaded. GeoTIFF files are read automatically into Geolitix and properly positioned.

When using other file types, you can either manually enter the corner coordinates of the image, or the associated world file (PGW or JPW) files can be uploaded and automatically read.
