DXF Base Maps

Multiple layers of DXF files may be loaded into Geolitix. These could be site drawings, maps made from EML surveys, as-built drawings, etc. As with all layers, each DXF file can be made visible or invisible, and the order of any layer can be switched at any time.

There are many variations of DXF files. At present, Geolitix works best with DXF files containing polylines, points and text. Shaded regions sometimes do not render well.

Imported DXF files can be in any coordinate system supported by Geolitix, or it defaults to the coordinate system of the project. Use the pull-down menu to display the supported global coordiante systems.
