Account & Subscriptions
Geolitix is a subscription service. There are various subscription tiers, depending on your requirements, ranging from free access for small projects to corporate levels for heavy users with large projects.
Users have the option of subscribing on a month-to-month basis, with the ability to cancel their subscription at any time. Alternatively, users can opt for an annual subscription at a lower monthly rate.
The subscription costs are shown below (in USD).

Starting a new account
Visit the sign up page. You will be asked to enter your name, email address, a password and a contact phone number. A confirmation email will then be sent to your email address to continue the registration process. If you do not receive this confirmation email, please contact us at support@geolitix.com.
The confirmation email contains a link “Verify this email address”. Once this link is selected, you will be taken back to Geolitix to log in using your email address and password. That’s it – you’re now a Geolitix user. This is a free Community subscription with all the features of Geolitix enabled. You do not need to enter any payment details unless you wish to upgrade your subscription for larger projects.
Modify account details
You can modify the account details at any time.
- Step 1: Go to the home screen.
- Step 2: Click settings .
- Step 3: Enter your new details

If you request an email change on your account, please email support@geolitix.com for further assistance.
Subscription management
All new accounts are started as Community subscriptions (free). You can manage your subscription by following these steps:
- Step 1: Go to the home screen.
- Step 2: Click settings .
- Step 3: Scroll down to Subscription settings.
- Step 4: Click on the pencil icon .
- Step 5: Modify the settings as desired.
Starting a paid subscription
Once a free account has been created, it can be easily upgraded to a paid subscription for larger projects.
- Step 1: Go to the home screen.
- Step 2: Click settings .
- Step 3: Scroll down to Subscription settings.
- Step 4: Click on the pencil icon .
- Step 5: Select Business or Enterprise under Service plan
- Step 6: Select the Billing cycle
Upgrading a subscription
A subscrption can be upgraded at any time.
- Step 1: Go to the home screen.
- Step 2: Click settings .
- Step 3: Scroll down to Subscription settings.
- Step 4: Click on the pencil icon .
- Step 5: Select Business or Enterprise under Service plan
- Step 6: Select the Billing cycle
Modify payment method
You can modify the payment method you use at any time.
- Step 1: Go to the home screen.
- Step 2: Click settings .
- Step 3: Scroll down to Current subscription.
- Step 4: Click on Modify payment method.
- Step 5: Enter your new payment details and click on save card
Downgrade a subscription
A subscription can be downgraded at any time. The downgraded subscription cost will be reflected in the next billing cycle.
- Step 1: Go to the home screen.
- Step 2: Click settings .
- Step 3: Scroll down to Subscription settings.
- Step 4: Click on the pencil icon .
- Step 5: Select the new Service plan required.
Projects which are now over the limit of your downgraded level will be maintained on our servers according to the Data retention policy. It is strongly recommended that you download all excess projects as soon as possible to avoid losing the data.
Cancel a subscription
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. This is done by simply downgrading a subscription to the free Community level.
- Step 1: Go to the home screen.
- Step 2: Click settings .
- Step 3: Scroll down to Subscription settings.
- Step 4: Click on the pencil icon .
- Step 5: Select Community under Service plan
In you’ve selected the annual subscription with monthly payment option, your monthly payments will continue until the end of the current subscription year.
Data retention policy
If a subscription if cancelled, Geolitix will retain your project files for a period of 90 days. After this time, they will be automatically deleted. If you re-subscribe within the 90 day retention period, your files will be available on your account.
This allows users who use GPR sporadically or seasonally to stop their paid subscription for up to 90 days while maintaining the project files for future access.
FAQ
Will I be automatically billed when my current billing cycle completes?
Yes. Geolitix is a subscription that recurs monthly or annually. You must cancel your renewal to turn off automatic billing.
Can I subscribe one month at a time?
Yes. Geolitix offers all tiers on a month-by-month basis or an annual basis. If you select the month-by-month basis, and you cancel your subscription before the recurring payment, you will be charged for only a single month.
Is it safe to use my credit card, and is my information secure?
Yes. Your payment information isn't stored by Geolitix. We use Stripe, a dedicated and secure payment company trusted by the largest companies on the Internet.
How do I get a receipt for my subscription?
Each month, we send you a receipt for the following month’s subscription to the email address you used when initially registering your account. If you do not receive this receipt, please contact us at support@geolitix.com.
What are the payment options for Geolitix?
